What is this about?

First off, welcome to the site. It is said that there are over 70,000,000 blogs in existence. This is an experiment to see how long it will take to get 1,000,000 blogs to list themselves on our site. a few weeks ago, our marikit mom tin alerted me to the fact that my keycode in the comments page wasn’t showing. it turns out that the code wasn’t in the comments page so you had to manually insert the code, which i tried and it wouldn’t work.

sometimes it’s so frustrating trying to figure out how to make something work when you have no idea how to with the limited knowledge you have on the thing .. hay, it takes a lot of guesswork .. anyways, finally got to make the keycode appear on the comments page even though i couldn’t configure it to appear in a certain place .. well at least i got it to show at all .. kaya pwede na ulit mag-comment haha …

Hi everyone, blogging now at my new home on the web - marikit.net!! A big big thank you to Tin for making me a part of the marikit community.

My wife has been asking me to try out this thing called blogging. Of course I always say ok but whenever I get in front of the computer, my head seems unable to work out what to put in. I wanted it to be a very interesting read. I wanted it to be perfect. It’s been months since I said yes to my wife and still I could not think of anything ‘big’ to write about.

So finally I asked her “What’s the point? What should I write about?” Without a blink, she said “Anything you feel like writing about. You can write whatever you are thinking right now if you want.” I guess that’s the point. So here it is…without the fireworks.

In a few hours, E and I will be flying back to Manila (Ichi will follow by weekend). It will be a few weeks of vacation for us plus attending my brother-in-law’s wedding where E will be a bible bearer. Can’t wait to catch up with our families and friends, for home-cooked meal, for movie dates and whatever else activity we can do during these two and a half weeks.

Manila here we come. 

Yesterday marks the start of the Great Singapore Sale 2006 where for 8 weeks Singapore will be in a shopping frenzy as the discounts run up to 70% off. Malls in Orchard will alternate opening till midnight on weekends. 

This weekend there's also the Singapore Food Expo 2006 and the MPH Book Sale at the Singapore Expo. Also upcoming on June 1-4 will be the PC Show at Suntec.

It's polling day today in Singapore at least for those in the contested areas. It's actually the second time we're witnessing the elections, the first time was back in 2001 when we were here for our honeymoon.

I can't believe it's been 16 months since I gave birth. Mabilis ba yun o mabagal, honestly minsan hindi ko na alam :p Ang daldal na ng anak ko and I still don't understand what he's babbling about. I'm sure may meaning naman lahat ng sinasabi niya wala lang talaga akong decoder. He says dada more then mama and is super excited when his dada comes home. When we go out (gala din itong si E at alam niya pag lalabas kami), he wants to walk on his own aba ayaw magpahawak. We also watch either hi-5 or barney vcds everyday (oo, walang katapusan!!!), ang nakakatuwa he would get the cd organizer and give it to me to open then he would choose which cd to play. And a couple of weeks ago he started imitating our actions na. Ang pinakagusto ko sa lahat is he's malambing, my mom always comments (whenever she sees us via webcam) na lagi daw naka-hug sa akin sana lang hanggang lumaki eh malambing pa din.

feeling down lately
I've been feeling kinda depressed lately, madalas akong wala sa mood, ewan ko I might just be tired coz ichi's been keeping long hours the past weeks.

hunt for the dress
We'll be flying home to Pinas in a month and a half's time for my brother-in-law's wedding. E will be a a bible bearer. Wala naman akong special role pero syempre kailangan maganda suot ko hahaha. So the hunt for the dress starts today!

nope, we're not pregnant but our friends ron & tin are!! congratulations!
